Amachi now knows that Okumura was the opposing candidate in the professor's election before he came to Germany, but he cannot bring himself to tell. When they happen to see Doctor Nishino who played a role in the election, Okumura finds that Amachi was involved in the election too. Amachi is tormented by regret and guilt, yet their relation seems to continue, until Okumura overhears Amachi talking to Nishino on the phone and becomes dubious...
