The Battle of Ishizu is over, and Tokiyuki and Akiie’s forces are in retreat. Despite heavy losses, Tokiyuki’s efforts in support of the Southern Court do not go unnoticed or unrewarded, and Emperor Go-Daigo bestows an important honor upon him.
