When he arrived in Edo, Seno sold his sword Kunifusa in an attempt to leave the violence of his past life behind. But a killer named Kikuchi is now seeking him out at the behest of an aggrieved lord. With this threat hanging over him and the spirit of Kunifusa whispering temptations in his ear, Seno considers buying his sword back. Seno’s mother once warned him that he would become a demon if he took up the sword. With a confrontation with Kikuchi building, can Seno control the demon within himself?
