After getting dumped by her boyfriend, who instead decides to marry the daughter of his boss to further his career, 29－year－old wedding planner Shiori puts her love life on hold and throws herself completely into her work, becoming a real workaholic. But, unbeknownst to Shiori, her younger colleague, the 24－year－old, puppy－like Hiiragi, absolutely adores her. One day, a couple comes and requests Shiori to arrange their wedding... but it’s her ex－boyfriend and his new girlfriend! Shiori puts on a brave face as she deals with them, but it becomes too much for her, and she’s nearly reduced to tears!
It’s then that Hiiragi steps in and pretends to be her boyfriend in response to Shiori’s ex－boyfriend’s taunts! He then makes her a proposal: he’ll be her boyfriend until her ex gets married. Thus begins Shiori and Hiiragi’s game of love!
